Water & Sanitation

The Eldorado Area Water and Sanitation District was created in 1997 in an election by property owners of the District for the purpose of providing the residents of the District a voice in their water future. This is one of many special districts in the state and is considered a quasi-municipal entity. Oversight of the District’s budget is provided by the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration.
